02.12.11 Afan Nedd Tawe Sportshall Championships School Years 7, 8, 9 & 10 @ Swansea.
Entries close Wednesday 30th November. Results form the basis of selection for the Afan Nedd Tawe team to compete in the Welsh Final at Cwmbran in March which in turn can progress to the UK final.

31.01.12 Afan Nedd Tawe Schools Athletics Association Cross Country Championships for school years 7 to 13 @ Singleton Park. Results form the basis of selection for the Afan Nedd Tawe team to compete in the Welsh Schools Cross Country Championships in February which in turn can progres to international honours.

25.02.12 Welsh Schools Cross Country Championships @ Brecon. An Afan Nedd Tawe School years 7 to 13 team is selected based on the results of the Afan Nedd Tawe County Trial held on 31.01.12.

04.03.12 Welsh School Sportshall Final @ Cwmbran. An Afan Nedd Tawe school years 7/8 = U14 & 9/10 = U16 team is selcted based on the Afan Nedd Tawe trial held on 02.12.11. Winning teams in each section progress to the UK Sportshall Athletics Final in Birmingham.

18.04.12 UK Athletics Certificate in Teaching Primary Athletics Course @ Swansea. This is open to all primary school teachers.

27.04.12 UK Athletics Certificate in Teaching Comprehensive Athletics Course @ Swansea. This is open to all comprehensive school PE teachers.

TBC West Glamorgan Primary Schools Athletics Association Indoor & Outdoor Athletics Track & Field League. Speak to your PE teacher to be considered for selection.

TBC West Glamorgan Primary Schools Athletics Association Cross Country Area League fixtures. Speak to your PE teacher to see if your school has entered a team. Top individual athletes and teams progress to the County Final.

TBC West Glamorgan Primary Schools Cross Country Final @ Ashleigh Road Playing Fields, Swansea University. Speak to your PE teacher to see if the school has entered the heats. Results form the basis of selction for the West Glamorgan team to compete against Dyfed in the Inter County Cross Country Match.

May 2012 Afan Nedd Tawe Schools Track & Field Championships Juniors (Yrs8&9), Middle (Yrs10&11) and Seniors (Yrs12&13). Ask your PE teacher to be considered for selection. A team is selected to represent Afan Nedd Tawe in the Welsh Schools Athletics Championships @ Brecon, where athletes have the opportunity to compete for Welsh Schools National representative honours.

May 2012 Swansea Harriers Schools Trophy Match for school years 7, 8 & 9. Ask your PE teacher to be considered for selection.

June 2012 Primary Schools Outdoor Athletics Area Sports @ Swansea University. Speak to your PE teacher to see if your school has entered a team.

June 2012 Afan Nedd Tawe Schools Cup Match U14 (Yrs7&8) and U16 (Yrs 9&10). Ask your PE Teacher to be considered for selection. The top 2 school teams in each category go forward to Welsh Schools Cup & Plate finals @ Brecon.

June 2012 West Glamorgan Primary Schools Athletics Association, Best School Team Final @ Swansea University. Speak to your PE teacher to see if the school has entered the league fixtures above.

July 2012 Welsh Schools Track & Field Championships @ Brecon, Juniors (Yrs8&9), Middle (Yrs10&11) and Seniors (Yrs12&13). Athletes are selcted via the Afan Nedd Tawe schools to represent their county.

July 2012 Welsh Schools Cup and Plate Finals @ Brecon, U14 (Yrs7&8) and U16 (Yrs 9&10). The top two schools teams from each age group from the Afan Nedd Tawe Schools Cup match represent Afan Nedd Tawe.
