Results Round Up From Glasgow, Cardiff & Valencia Spain

Saturday 30th November was the U16 & U18 British Schools Combined Events International at Glasgow, two Swansea Harriers were selected for Wales, both in the U16B; Dylan Morgan had a superb day to gain individual BRONZE amassing 3065 points over the 5 event disciplines setting personal bests in the 200m (23.44); 800m (2.17.06); 60m Hurdles (9.10) & Long Jump (6.04m); team mate Zac Davies scored 2740 points for 8th setting personal bests in the 200m (24.39); 800m (2.23.95) & 60m Hurdles (8.82), their efforts helped the U16M to team BRONZE too! Sunday 1st December was the Welsh Athletics U13, U15 & U17 Junior Open at Cardiff, that incorporated the West Wales Championships for 200m, 300m & 400m. It was great to see such a large turnout from the club many of whom were making their club debut. Highlights included our overall top performer in each age group and events, as well as any West Wales medalists below:

U17M: Josh Kenny (24.94) 200m & WW BRONZE; Owain Clarke (55.70) 400m WW SILVER; Miles Hill (60.86) 400m & WW BRONZE; Addam Bowling (1.80m) High Jump; Ryan Price (12.37m) Triple Jump & SW GOLD and Oscar Dun (12.52m) Shot.

U17W: Emily Collins (30.60) 200m and Gabrielle Garcia (46.61) WW BRONZE.

U15B: Harrison Garcia (26.77) 200m & WW GOLD (42.29) 300m & WW GOLD & (1.40m) High Jump, David Ejimofor (27.49) & WW SILVER; Marek Worzocha (27.84) & WW BRONZE & (46.50) 300m & WW BRONZE; Christian Garcia (44.71) 300m & WW SILVER and Macsen Holland (11.39m) Shot.

U15G: Olivia Mackey (29.17) 200m; Emily Jones (52.34) 300m; Ruby Jones (1.56m) High Jump and Sarah Lyons (4.89m) Long Jump.

U13B: Nathan Bunting (29.96) 200m & WW SILVER; Fletcher Davies (1.25m) High Jump and Macsen Holland (7.42m) Shot.

U13G: Zoe Strevens (29.95) 200m & WW SILVER and Matilda Quick (1.40m) High Jump & (3.97m) Long Jump.

Sunday 1st December was the Valencia Marathon in Spain where Elinor Kirk had an amazing run to finish in a lifetime best of (2.34.35) taking her to 5th on the Welsh all time ranking list and 57th all time UK, well done Elinor!  Also running was Raul Reismann finishing in a time of (2.5116).
