Results Round Up From London x 2 & Gwent League & Elsewhere

Sunday 1st March at the Vitality Big Half Marathon at Greenwich London, in a top class field of runners Joshua Griffiths finished in 8th (63.57) followed home by; 17th Dewi Griffiths (63.57) and 71st Matthew Rees (70.34), well done all! It was a great week for Joshua being named in the GB&NI team for the World Half Marathon Championships too!
 
 
Sunday 1st March whilst representing Welsh Masters at the Inter Area Match in Lee Valley London were our awsome foursome of; MW35 Llinos Jones placed 4th in her 800m (2.32.22) and 3rd in the 1500m in (5.03.86); MW40 Helen-Marie Davies was 2nd over 3000m in (11.12.01) and MW50 Kelly Gipson was 9th in the 3000m too with (13.08.07); versatile MM50 Glyn Price was 6th in the 60m Hurdles (11.05) and 7th in the High Jump (1.45m) and 2nd in his favourite event (3.81m) Pole Vault. Well done to them all on such a great set of results.
 
 
With the cancellation of the final Gwent League at home this means that team wise our U11G were champions; U20M runners up; Senior Men promoted from Division 2; Senior Women runners up in division 1!
 
Individually by season end in their respective age categories U11G Libby Hale was 3rd overall, U11G Chloe Hartley-Green 4th; U13B Oliver Patterson 10th; U15B Aled Tumelty 4th; U17W Darcie Bass 9th; SW Alaw Beynon-Thomas 1st!!!!; U23W Abigayle Goodrick-Latham 2nd; MW35 Helen-Marie Davies 10th; MW45 Diane Brownhill 10th; MW55 Sian Phillips 5th. Very many congratulations to them all on gaining top 10 placings and showing such dedication to their club teams over all four of the fixtures!
