Christmas Thank You List:

The club has kept running for another whole year and this has been down to the hard work of all of our volunteers:

Thanks to all the coaches for making themselves available as much as possible in all weather conditions.

Thanks to the treasurer and the café team of mums, dads and grandparents who cover eight shifts a week between them, two a day Monday to Thursday to collect training fees, membership fees and kit sales on our new contactless cashless system and religiously turning up even if their own kids weren’t training.

Thanks to all our officials for supporting all our home and away fixtures, and also to all our team managers on and off track for getting squads out for on and off track league matches.

Thanks to all of the club trustees/committee for all of their very important hard work in finance, governance and more, that goes on unseen in the background keeping Wales largest club operating year round.

Thanks to the University Track Staff too supporting us year round in competition & training.

Christmas Shopping & Fundraise for Swansea Harriers in the Process:

Swansea Harriers depends entirely on the fundraising efforts of our members to exist. We rely on a steady stream of smaller donations primarily via our membership fees and club café sales. These donations alone give us the assured income to help meet our operational costs. Additionally to keep participation costs to our members as affordable as possible, from all groups of the community, from grassroots introductory level through to international level, Swansea Harriers are registered online with the Easy Fundraising initiative below, that we hope you will consider utilising to help raise further much needed income for the club. These funds can help ensure the club continues to grow its income to enable the sport on the ground to thrive and survive.

Before you buy anything online please consider login in here https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/shac/ and register for Swansea Harriers. At no extra cost to you a percentage of your item will go to the club and there are thousands of retailers to choose from, 100% of the income raised goes back into the club.
