Welsh Inter Regional Cross Country Championships @ Newtown

To represent West Wales at Newtown athletes must again have one of the following qualifications:
A: – BIRTH; the athlete having been born in West Wales (Dyfed or West Glamorgan).
B: – RESIDENCE; a minimum of 9 months continuous residence in West Wales immediately prior to this event.
The top 13 West Wales eligible finishers at Margam Park held back on Saturday 11th October 2025 will be selected for West Wales at Newtown in all age groups from U13 to M55+ age groups. M65+ athletes selection will be the first 4 finishers at Margam. Athletes outside of automatic selection spots or for those who were unable to run at Margam will be considered for selection once a team manager has been appointed. At this stage we don’t have a team manager in place for Newtown, but if you can help the region out in one or more of the age groups, so our athletes can run, please email West Wales Chair Rob Campion at [email protected] to offer your assistance.
Inter Regional Teams:
U13, U15 & U17: 15 team members with 8 to score
U20: 15 team members with 4 to score
Seniors: 15 team members and 8 to score
Masters: 35, 45, 55: 15 team members per age group and 5 to score. 65+: 5 team members and 3 to score.
