Friday 12th January in Houston, Texas USA Macey Morris runs a PB of 7.86 indoors over 60m, well done Macey!
Friday 12th January in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA Sophia Harrison runs a 2.39.88 for 800m and 5.29.69 for the Mile indoors, congratulations Sophia!
Saturday 13th January at the Loughborough Indoor Open Meeting Carys Jones clears a best height of 3.71m in the Pole Vault, well done Carys!
Saturday 13th January at Swansea saw day 1 of 2 in the West Wales Indoor Championships. There was an enormous entry from the club of over 100 athletes, if only every match was a home match! We were very grateful for all the volunteers who made the day possible, and it was fantastic to see so many personal bests set, many of the juniors making their club debut too! Sunday 14th January saw Verity Ockenden finish just one second outside her lifetime best in the Valencia 10km coming home in a super fast time of 32.40, well done Verity!
Sunday 14th January saw our twenty two of our Senior Men & Women in action in Margam Park for round 3 of the West Glamorgan League, held over a challenging 5 mile multi terrain route. Our top 5 Men & Women home were:
Men: having a great run to come home in 2nd place was Matthew Harvey followed across the line by 29th Paul Flynn, 30th Alan Davies, 34th Owen Davies and 38th Alex John.
Women: first home was 11th Kristy Smith followed home by 23rd Diane Brownhill; 29th Lois Woodward; 38th Jennifer Roberts and 39th Helen-Marie Davies.
