Results Round Up

This week we have results to round up for you from Pembrey, Newcastle, Watford & Loughborough.

Tuesday 7th September SM Kieron White runs a 3.57.20 personal best over 1500m at Stretford, then on Wednesday 8th September follows this with a 1.53.82 personal best for 800m at Watford, well done Kieron!

Wednesday 8th September at Loughborough U20W Carys Poole throws a 23.27m Javelin, runs 28.73 for 200m and jumps a 4.88m Long Jump, well done Carys!

Saturday 11th September was the Welsh Road Relay Championships at Pembrey Country Park and it was a very successful day for the club where we were well represented across most age categories. Showing great team spirit, the teams came away with a hatful of medals, here is how they all got on:

MM55+ saw a GOLD medal team performance from the trio of Ifan Lloyd, Thomas Guest & Steve Smith with Ifan setting the fastest individual leg time across all clubs and Thomas the 3rd.

MW55+ no team entered.

MM45+ finished in 4th with the trio of Owen Davies, Heath Brett & Gair Mcadie.

MW45+ no team entered.

MM35+ saw a SILVER medal team performance from the trio of Daniel Otteson, Steven Taylor & Daniel Newton, with Daniel setting the fastest individual leg time across all clubs.

MW35+ saw a GOLD medal team performance from the trio of Helen Marshal, Helen-Marie Davies & Llinos Jones, with Helen-Marie setting the fastest and Helen setting the third fastest individual leg times across all clubs. Our B team placed 4th with the trio of Nina Brocklebank, Vanessa Harrigan & Julie Hartley-Green.

SM saw a GOLD medal team performance from the quartet of Jonathan Butler, Morgan Davies, Matthew Rees & Dewi Griffiths, with Dewi setting the fastest individua leg time across all clubs. Our B team were 4th with the quartet of Angus Maclean, Matthew Verran, Geraint Williams & Jack Turner. Our C team were 7th with Matthew Harvey, Daniel Morgan, Patrick Jones & Iwan White. Our D team was incomplete with Charlie Northey & Michael Bryant.

SW came away with both the GOLD & BRONZE team medals. Our A team quartet were Megan Carter-Davies, Kate Roberts, Caryl Edwards & Olivia Gwynn. The B team quartet were Gemma Seaman, Bronwen Stratton-Thomas, Jessica Smith & Sophie Harrison. Megan set the 2nd and Kate the 3rd fastest individual leg across all clubs.

U17M came away with the GOLD & BRONZE team medals. Our A team trio were Tom Attwood, Charlie Harris & Aled Tumelty and our B team were Matthew Lewis, Tesfaye Shugi & Ben Sullivan, our C team was incomplete with Morgan Willis & Joshua Pritchard. Charlie & Aled set the joint 3rd fastest individual leg across all clubs.

U17W saw a GOLD medal team performance with the trio of Mai Davies, Ella Davies & Tiffany Rees.

U15B finished in 7th with the trio of Evan Morris, Gavin Alexander & Steffan Higgins.

U15G saw a SILVER medal team performance with the trio of Ava Davies, Sophie Hartley-Green & Matilda Topliss. Ava set the 2nd fastest individual time across all clubs.

U13B Jack Sullivan was our sole runner setting the 8th fastest individual time across all clubs.

U13G came away with a SILVER medal team performance with the quartet of Millie Pierce, Chloe Hartley-Green, Imogen Mcadie & Tabitha Ventress-Brett. Millie set the 2nd fastest individual leg time across all clubs. Our B team was incomplete with the trio of Eden Williams, Sophie Pennio & Ellie Pennio.

U11B came away with a GOLD medal team performance with the trio of Thomas Maclean, Jack Martin & Isaac Mcadie. Thomas set the 2nd fastest individual leg across all clubs. The B team was incomplete with the duo of Ellis Bennett & Michael Powell.

U11G came away with a GOLD medal team performance with the trio of Taylor Shelmerdine, Hannah Sullivan & Mia Rabaiotti. Taylor set the fastest individual time across all clubs. The B team was incomplete Hannah Hartley-Green & Luisa Rabaiotti.

Sunday 12th September was the Great North Run in Newcastle, two of our elite athletes were running Joshua Griffiths finished 14th in an impressive time of 1.05.15 and Verity Ockenden had a great run too for 8th setting a magnificent time of 1.12.56 a personal best, well done both over a very undulating course!
