Results Round Up
This week we have plenty of results to round up for you from Cardiff x 3, London, Trofeo Nasego Italy, Chelmsford, Manchester, Oxford, Halle Germany, Guilford, Stratford and Exeter.
Wednesday 21st May was the Cardiff run with the wind open meeting, where a cohort of athletes made the midweek trip up the M4. Our overall fastest athlete in each age group and gender were. SM Eli Onyewu 10.77 100m & 21.55 200m, U17M Jeremy Young 11.22 100m, SW Iona Hassanscott 14.58 100m, SM Joseph Beresford 52.49 400m, SW Hannah Brier 23.92 200m. Wednesday 21st May again at Cardiff was race 1 of 3 in the SSAFA 5km series. In the Men Morgan James was first home for the club in 6th with a time of 15.22 followed by 26th Joshua Sanders 16.09, 44th Steven Taylor 16.38, 60th Daniel May 17.03 and 189th Daniel Thomas 23.20. In the Women we had one finisher with Kelcy Hooper coming home in 20.27, well done all!

Friday 23rd May U23M Dafydd Jones run a super fast 13.55.94 over 5000m in Battersea Park London, well done Dafydd!
Saturday 24th May SM Joshua Griffiths was representing Wales once again, this time in the World Mountain Running Association World Cup Race at Trofeo Nasego, Italy, where he finished a very respectable 42nd, well done Josh on another Welsh vest!
Saturday 24th May U23M Evan Cole runs a 15.50 for 110m Hurdles in the Hurdles fest at Chelmsford, well done Evan!
Saturday 24th May U20W Hannah Kinane runs a 4.23.39 for 1500m at the Manchester British Milers Club Gran Prix, well done Hannah!
Saturday 24th May M80 Ian Bowles wins GOLD in the British Masters Throws Pentathlon at Oxford courtesy of a 26.31m Hammer, 8.62m Shot, 22.32m Discus, 13.82m Javelin and 11.63m Weight Throw, well done Ian!
Sunday 25th May was round 2 of 3 in the U17 & U20 Youth Development League held at Cardiff, where the squad put in another big shift covering several events each to place 3rd on the day and now also lie 3rd in the league table overall. Our thanks to all the athletes, coaches, officials and team managers who contributed to such a great result.

Individual highlights included A string wins for U20M Jenson Morris 22.87 200m, U20M Charlie Shuall 4.10m Pole Vault, U20M Ben Fenwick 41.56m Hammer, U20W Matilda Quick 15.04 100m Hurdles & 5.51m Long Jump & 1.68m High Jump & 11.22m Shot, U20W Millie Gold 5.00.17 1500m, U20W Bethan Holley 10.40m Triple Jump, U17M Osian Morgan 5.02.58 1500m Steeplechase, U17M Tyler Davies 3.65m Pole Vault, U17M William Richards-Baldwin 12.76m Shot & 47.19m Discus, U17W Holly Humphreys 10.02.87 3000m, U17W Lyra Roberts & Ellie Dunleavy both 2.90m Pole Vault. Sunday 25th May U23M Michael Jenkins throws a 55.58m in the Discus at Halle, Germany, well done Michael!
Sunday 25th May was the Guilford open meeting where U13B Tomi Jones had a great run to win the 800m in 2.23.99, well done Tomi!
Monday 26th May at the Stratford Speed open meeting, U23M William Hawker runs 10.88 in the 100m & 22.51 in the 200m, SM Eli Onyewu a 10.72 for 100m, SM Joseph Brier runs 47.33 in the 400m and his sister SW Hannah Brier 53.66 also in the 400m, well done all!
Tuesday 27th May at the British Milers Club in Exeter U17W Olivia Morgan runs a 2.19.63 for 800m and U17W Holly Humphreys a 4.36.48 for 1500m, well done both!
