Results Round Up
This week we have results to round up for you from Yeovil, Loughborough x 2, Swansea, Llys Y Fran, Leeds and Aberdare, including another all time club record!
Saturday 31st May was round 1 of 3 for our Senior Men’s and Women’s team in the National Athletics League @ Yeovil where the team got off to a fantastic start by winning the match! Thanks to all the athletes, team managers, coaches and officials who contributed to such a great result! Individual highlights included overall top 3 placings for:

Saturday 31st May U17W Millie Pierce finished 2nd in the 1500m Steeplechase at Loughborough in a time of 5.10.32, well done Millie!
Sunday 1st June was round 2 of 3 for our U13 & U15 team in the Youth Development League at home in a very windy Swansea. It was another tough day at the office, despite a larger and stronger team than round 1, the team placed 6th out of 7 against some super tough clubs, in a match where the leading teams kept chopping and changing places in a closely fought match, they will need to pull out all the stops in round 3 at Swindon on Sunday 20th July to avoid relegation. Thanks to all our athletes, team managers, officials and coaches on the day on a great team effort. Individual highlights included wins for U15B Elliott Lloyd 2.30m Pole Vault, U15B Roman Jackson 31.27m Discus, U15G Katriel Udoh 1.50m High Jump, U13B Glorious Khunda 10.55 75m, U13G Molly-Mae Mqueen 2.36.90 800m, U13G Lily Shubin 12,38 70m Hurdles and U13G Poppy Brannigan 1.51m High Jump.

Sunday 1st June was the Dambuster Multi Terrain Run at Llys Y Fran Reservoir, where Sharon Leech had a great run to come home in 8th in the Women’s race in 44.21, well done Sharon!
Sunday 1st June at the Ron Pickering Memorial Throws International at Loughborough U20W Lucy Harris was 6th in the Discus with a best of 42.27m and Michael Jenkins was 3rd also in the Discus with a best of 54.85m, well done both!
Monday 2nd June SM Joshua Morgan runs a 3000m Personal Best at the British Milers Club in Leeds finishing in 9.22.28, well done Joshua!
Tuesday 3rd June at Aberdare was a British Milers Club and Discus open meeting, where our top performer in each age group, event and gender were, SM Alfie Robinson 2.02.05 800m, U17W Millie Pierce 2.15.57 800m, U13B Tomi Jones 2.23.38 800m, U17W Libby Hale 4.40.52 1500m, U15G Lyla Jonsson 5.09.43 1500m, U20W Mai Davies 5.00.85 1500m, U17M Osian Morgan 4.52.79 1500m Steeplechase, U15B Roman Jackson 31.41m Discus, U17W Tabitha Ventress-Brett 26.69m Discus, U13G Poppy Brannigan 19.72m Discus and U20W Rebekah Pratt 18.31m Discus.
