Results Round Up

This week we have results to round up for you from Liverpool, Lee Valley, Wilmslow and Newtown.

Saturday 22nd November was round 2 of 4 in the British Cross Challenge Series at Liverpool. The event incorporated the 2025 European Cross Country Championship Trials for the U20 Men and Women, U23 Men and Women and Senior Men and Women. It was great to see eight Swansea Harriers make the journey to test themselves against the very best cross country runners in the UK. U13B Tomi Jones placed 17th in his race. U15B Oliver Cobbold came home in 15th. U15G Isabelle Lawley was 33rd. U17W Libby Hale was 52nd. U20W Millie Gold 29th. U17M Osian Morgan 81st. SW Verity Ockenden was the main highlight of the day having a great run for 6th and U23M Dayfydd Jones in 18th. Very well done all!

Sunday 23rd November SW Charlotte Campion runs a 8.56 PB for 60m indoors at Lee Valley, London backed up by 4.85m Long Jump, well done Charlotte!

Sunday 23rd November SW Elinor Vernon runs a 36.14 for 10km at Wilmslow placing 6th in a very talented field of runners, well done Elinor!

Saturday 30th November at Newtown was the Welsh Inter Regional Cross Country Championships. Runners were representing their regional teams, primarily West Wales in our case. In damp conditions that were heavy underfoot we saw U11G Molly Shelmerdine place an excellent SILVER in the open race. In the main Championship races we saw the following selected for their regions:
