Results Round Up

This week we have results to round up for you from Brecon & Gravesend.

Saturday 20th November was the joint Welsh Schools & Welsh Inter Regional Cross Country Championships at Brecon. Swansea Harriers were selected to represent their Welsh Region for which most were the West Wales region, their school or in many cases both. In ideal weather conditions and over a spectator friendly course here is how they all got on:

Primary Girls: saw a superb GOLD medal run from Georgie-Bo Davies, followed by 23rd Hannah Hartley-Green.

Primary Boys: Isaac Mcadie was our sole runner in 10th.

U13 Girls: saw another fine win for Libby Hale and gaining an impressive BRONZE was Millie Pierce, followed home by Chloe Hartley-Green in an excellent 5th; 44th Imogen Mcadie and 66th Gwenllian Griffiths.

U13 Boys: saw Osian Morgan finish in 57th and Jack Sullivan in 84th.

U15 Girls: first home was Ava Davies in a solid 10th; followed by 17th Sophie Hartley-Green and 47th Matilda Topliss.

U15 Boys: finishing together were 37th Gavin Alexander and 38th Steffan Higgins.

U17W & U20W: first home having a great run for BRONZE was Sophia Harrison, also having great runs for top 10 placings were 5th Mai Davies & 9th Ella Davies, following them home were 34th Bethan Adams and 38th Daisy Anderson.

U17M & U20M: had a great entry with eight finishers: 11th Aled Tumelty; 13th Tom Attwood; 19th Charlie Harris; 22nd Morgan Willis; 29th Ben Sullivan; 37th Iwan White; 40th Matthew Lewis and 46th Joshua Pritchard.

Senior & Masters Women: two podium places came from 2nd Megan Carter-Davies and 3rd Katrina Reischmann; followed home by 24th Llinos Jones; 26th Carys Jones; 31st Helen-Marie Davies; 67th Julie Hartley-Green; 68th Isobel Dawson; 77th Jenny Mcadie; 106th Nina Brocklebank and 114th Tina Gabb.

Senior & Masters Men: our first Man home was Dewi Griffiths in a great BRONZE medal position, followed home by 41st Matthew Verran; 54th Daniel Otteson; 57th Daniel Morgan; 116th Charles Walsh; 118th Owen Davies; 129th Gabriellus Stuokus; 135th Gair Mcadie; 146th Simon Coombes and 159th Michael Williams.

Sunday 21st November saw M60 Ifan Lloyd runs a very impressive 34.54 to finish 22nd overall in the British Masters 10km Championships in Gravesend. Ifan won a magnificent SILVER in his age category missing out by just 2 seconds from the M60 GOLD, congratulations Ifan on such a great performance.
