Results Round Up
This week we have results to round up for you from Derby, Pembrey, Manchester, Yeovil & Newcastle.
Friday 9th September to Sunday 13th September was the British Masters Championships at Derby which is for athletes aged 35+ and where the age groups go up in 5 year increments. Swansea Harriers was well represented with M35 Daniel Williams taking BRONZE in the High Jump with a 1.65m, M65 Roderick Davies was 12th fastest in the 100m heats in 15.38 & 11th fastest in his 200m heats with 33.11 & 6th in the Long Jump with 3.559m; M40 Oladele Bamisaye made it to the 100m final placing 5th in 12.02; W75 Daphne Marler picked up a SILVER medal in the Hammer with a best of 13.59m and M80 Ian Bowles won SILVER in the Shot with 8.39m & GOLD in the Discus with 21.54m & another SILVER with 10.12m in the weight throw. Very many congratulations to them all who like a fine wine, keep getting better with age!
Saturday 12th September saw the Welsh Junior Road Relay Championships at Pembrey. The days races got underway with some U12 individual rather than relay races. We had plenty of teams this year which was great to see.
- U12B saw Max Rankin crossing the line in 16th, followed by 27th Joseph Russell-Fensome and 30th James King, placing 5th in the team standings.

- U12G saw 6 runners take to the start with our first three home scoring for the team race and came away with the BRONZE medal with the trio of 9th Millie Coles, 15th Lara Joseph and 16th Ada Williams.

- U14B had two full teams, with our A team placing 5th with the trio of Jacka Ray O’Callaghan, Jackson Jones and Tomi Jones.
- U14G had three full teams, with our A team placing 6th with the trio of Molly-Mae Mcqueen, Ruby Harvey-Flinn & Emily Evans-Williams.

- U16B had three full teams, with our A team placing 6th with the trio of Oliver Cobbold, Isaac Mcadie & Sean Mu.
- U16G finished three full teams and were our star performers of the day coming home with team BRONZE courtesy of Isabelle Lawley, Gwenna Rees & Lyla Jonsson.

- U18M had three full teams with the A team placing 5th with the trio of Evan Price, Jack Sullivan & Osian Morgan.
- U18W no team.

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September were the Trafford AC Combined Events Classic at Manchester. On the Saturday U14G Matilda Warchal did really well to place 8th in the Pentathlon courtesy of a 13.23 75m Hurdles, 1.30m High Jump, 5.83m Shot, 4.11m Long Jump and a 1.56.07 600m. Across both days in the seven events of the Heptathlon U18W Tabitha Ventress-Brett placed an excellent 4th with 3834 points courtesy of a 17.19 100m Hurdles, 1.39m High Jump, 10.73m Shot, 28.11 200m, 4.51m Long Jump, 25.77m Javelin and 2.27.07 800m.
Sunday 13th September was the Yeovil Games where SM Taylor Proberts was our sole representative placing 3rd in the Hammer throw with a best of 37.22m, well done Taylor!
Sunday 13th September was the Great North Run SM Ryan Davies having a great run for 640th in 1.25.09, well done Ryan!
