Sunday 18th October was round 2 of 5 in the Seniors West Glamorgan Cross Country League at Pembrey Country Park. Held in ideal weather conditions over a multi terrain course. In the Women’s race first home was 9th Bethan Froome followed by our only other runner 78th Caroline Morgan thanks to both, we are awaiting the league tables, but with another incomplete team in round 2, we suspect they will be in the relegation zone of division 2 when they are available. The Men’s team saw Marc Hobbs take another great win, joining him on the podium was Jacob Parry in 3rd, followed by Patrick Tudor in 8th, Joshua Morgan in 9th and 18th Matthew Harvey completing our top 5 scorers. We had 10 more runners behind them assuring the other teams cannot accumulate so many points, a fantastic turnout and team effort. When the league tables are published we hope they will have retained their top spot at the top of Division 1. Click here for the full results. Round 3 will be at Aberavon Beach on Sunday 22nd November.
