Results Round Up

This week we have results to round up for you from Mansfield and Cwmavon.

Saturday 31st October was the English National Cross Country Relays at Mansfield. A huge well done to our 20W trio of Millie Pierce, Libby Hale & Holly Humphreys who came away with the SILVER medal over the 2,500m legs against the very best club and university teams in the UK, congratulations girls! Sunday 1st November was the Richard Burton 10km at Cwmavon incorporating the Welsh Senior & Masters Championships. It was a very successful day for the club with our Men taking a clean sweep of the podium places. It was Jonathan Butler who took GOLD over the hilly course clocking a time of 30.29 with Dafydd Jones in SILVER 30.33 and Joshua Griffiths in BRONZE 30.43, following them home were Jacob Parry in 13th with a 33.52 and Daniel James in 16th with a 34.01 to make our top five Men. In the Women’s race first home for the club in 5th was Megan Williams 38.30, followed by 12th Kristy Smith in 41.18, 13th Chloe Hartley-Green in 41.32, 14th Caitlyn Gwyther in 41.51 and 34th Julie Hartley-Green in 44.20 making our top 5. The results format make it a little tricky to be sure we have not missed anyone, apologies if we have. In addition once established we will update this post and confirm any Masters medalists from the Welsh Championships.
