Results Round Up

This week we have results to round up for you from Boston & Eugene USA, Belfast, Loughborough, Lampeter & Yate, including a Welsh Record from back in summer 2021!

Belated congratulations to U20M Dylan Morgan who is pictured being presented by Gerald Davies Chair of the Welsh Schools Athletics Association, with one quarter of the Jack O’Connell athlete of the match award earlier this week, for his all time Welsh Record breaking performance as part of the U17M 4 x 100m relay team in the British Schools U17 International last summer in Derby. The boys ran a 41.60 to win the race beating the old Welsh record from 2013 of 42.67, very many congratulations Dylan and the rest of the quartet!!!

 

 

Monday 18th April SW Sioned Howells runs a 2.53.26 for the Marathon in Boston, USA, congratulations Sioned!

Friday 22nd April SM Jonathan Hopkins has a fantastic run in the 3000m Steeplechase recording a Commonwealth Games nomination standard of 8.31.80 in Eugene, Oregan USA, very many congratulations Jonathan!

Saturday 23rd April SM Kristian Jones had a superb run to with the Belfast 5000m track race in a very quick time of 14.14.06, well done Kristian!

Saturday 23rd April SM Ben Paris runs a 11.39 over 100m at Loughborough and U20W Carys Poole an 8.66m in the Shot, well done both!

Sunday 24th April saw M45 Owen Davies run the Teifi 10 Mile Road race in Lampeter finishing in 30th in 69.03, well done Owen!

Sunday 24th April saw our U17 & U20 team put in a great performances placing 5th in round 1 at Yate of the National Youth Development League. It was fantastic so see the team working together for the club competing in a few events each our squad was less than 10 points from 3rd in a closely fought match, click here for the league table and here for the full results.
