Don’t miss the closing date for the Welsh U13 U17 & U20 Indoor Athletics Championships
Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th February 2024 are the Welsh U13, U17 & U20 Indoor Championships at Cardiff, CF23 6XD.
Entries close 11.59pm Thursday 18th January.
Entry fees:
1 event = £9.00 , 2 events = £18.00, 3 events = £23.00, 4 events = £28.00, 5 events = £33.00, 6 events = £38.00.
U13 athletes can only take part in 3 events per day, and under UK Athletics rules a maximum of one of these can be an endurance event.
U15 athletes can move up to compete as and against the U17 athletes, ANY athlete moving up one age group must use that age group implements i.e. Shot weights and Hurdle heights/spacings.
The final timetable and event information will be emailed out no sooner than week commencing Monday 29th January 2024.
U13B Events (School years 6 & 7)
Saturday 3rd. TRACK: 60m, 1500m, 60m Hurdles. FIELD: Long Jump.
Sunday 4th. TRACK: 200m, 800m, 1k Walk. FIELD: High Jump, Shot Put
U13G Events (School years 6 & 7)
Saturday 3rd. TRACK: 60m, 1500m, 60m Hurdles. FIELD: Shot Put.
Sunday 4th. TRACK: 200m, 800m, 1k Walk. FIELD: High Jump, Long Jump
U17M Events (School years 10 & 11)
Saturday 3rd. TRACK: 60m, 400m, 1500m, 60m Hurdles. FIELD: Pole Vault, Triple Jump, Shot Put
Sunday 4th. TRACK: 200m, 800m, 3000m, 3k Walk. FIELD: High Jump, Long Jump.
U17W Events (school years 10 & 11)
Saturday 3rd. TRACK: 60m, 300m, 1500m, 60m Hurdles. FIELD: Pole Vault, Triple Jump.
Sunday 4th. TRACK: 200m, 800m, 3000m, 3k Walk. FIELD: High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put
