Final Timetable & Athletes Notes For Sunday 23rd April

Please find below all the information you need to know for this Sunday 23rd April open meeting at Swansea. Our thanks to all the volunteers who have contributed to date undertaking an enormous amount of administration behind the scenes.

Kindly sponsored by the Evans Family Foundation, NPT Transatlantic, the first event will begin at 11:00am (field) and 11:00am (track).

Under 11 / O Dan 11: School Years 4 & 5

Under 13 / O Dan 13: School Years 6 & 7

Under 15 / O Dan 15: School Years 8 & 9

Under 17 / O Dan 17: School Years 10 & 11

Under 20 / O Dan 20:  School Years 12, 13 & 14

Senior Men & Women: School Years 15 to infinity

To support our qualified officials, incorporated into this open meeting is the West Wales Officials development day. This day is open to everyone from all clubs, from parents, volunteers, students and others interested in learning more about officiating and will involve practical officiating experience in an open meeting.

To register, if you can help us out, please complete the online expression of interest form and the more who sign up for us the more smoothly the day will run.

In addition, there will be a UK Athletics Level 1 Field Judge qualification held at the Swansea University Athletics Track, split over two evenings on Wednesday 26th April & Wednesday 10th May between 5pm and 7pm, delivered by Dave Jessett. The course costs £25pp. Click here to book

Please check the final timetable and event information very carefully (links below) for the event start times and reporting times for your event/s, as there have been some adjustments to the provisional timetable along with confirmed pools for field events (LJ, HJ, PV).

Note: Athletes who are no longer able to attend and have entered either the long jump, shot, discus or javelin – are asked to email [email protected] to withdraw. We do have a waiting list in operation for these field events and any spaces arising can be allocated to give others the opportunities to participate.

We have been made aware by the Open Track team of a technical issue at present around showing the correct ‘Event ID’ on the Open Track event page. The ‘T’ and ‘F’ numbers will be showing incorrectly in the first column, *please refer to the timetable or the event title online for the correct version.*

Throws (hammer, shot, discus, javelin) and triple jump field events will run as one event as shown on the timetable.
