Plenty Of Competitions To Enter in July
In addition to our Youth U13, U15, U17 & U20 League fixtures and our Seniors National Athletics league fixtures which you need to be selected by your relevant team manager for. There are four other fast approaching competition closing dates covering most age groups and event disciplines not to be missed that you can enter yourself in. In event chronological order (but not closing date chronological order):
1. Wednesday 21st July @ Cardiff is a Welsh Athletics open meeting for throws & endurance. The throws are Shot & Discus for the U17, U20 & Seniors/Masters. The endurance races are 800m, 1500m, 3000m Steeplechase & 3000m walk for U15 to senior/masters.

2. Saturday 24th July at Newport is a Welsh Athletics Run Jump Throw U11 & U13 competition. The events are 75m, Long Jump & Shot for U11 and 800m, High Jump & Javelin for U13. 3. Saturday 31st July @ Pembrey Country Park is a Welsh Athletics 5km road race for U15 to Masters, there will be four races with a maximum of 60 in each, races are seeded on times rather than age group. 4. Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th August @ Cardiff are the Welsh U15 & Senior Track & Field Championships covering all running jumping & throwing disciplines.
