Saturday 28th March Welsh Seniors & Masters Road Relay Championships @ Parc Bryn Bach

Saturday 28th March sees the Welsh Seniors & Masters Road Relay Championships at Parc Bryn Bach, NP22 3AY.

The Welsh road Relay Championships offers competition for Welsh Clubs over 4 legs (seniors) and 3 legs (masters). Each relay race will start and finish alongside the lake and take in a loop around the lake and around the undulating loop of the golf course. The event will also host Junior Races (2.6km) which will form the trial race for the Welsh Team competing at the 2026 London Mini Marathon. Mini Marathon selection policy can be found here. The race will also be used as the trial for Welsh clubs for the English National Road Men’s 12 stage and Women’s 6 stage Relays. TEAM SCORING
Team sizes are Senior Men & Women: 4 in a team. Masters Men & Women 35-44 & 45-54 & 55-64 & 65+ (Age on day is used for Masters Age-groups): with 3 in a team. Entries close on Thursday 12th March, if you would like to run for the club, the club will pay the team entry fees and please send your name, date of birth and 7 digit Welsh Athletics registration number to Brian Fox at [email protected] who has the significant task of declaring all the runners. Once declared experienced club coaches will decide team compositions and running orders.

Swansea Harriers has a rich history at the Welsh Road Relays across senior and masters teams and will be looking for another big turnout in this great team event please.
