Swansea Harriers Neal Merry Jumps Open Meeting

Sunday 12th April sees the Neal Merry Jumps only open meeting at Swansea. This is the only match at home this season due to the immanent resurfacing of the outdoor track (more detailed post to follow on this once we have confirmation of work start date). We have already received over 100 entries and there are just a few spaces remaining in each age group and event. Entries close Friday 10th April unless all entries sell out sooner. • Club officers will decide by 9am Wednesday if the event will be held indoors or outdoors this post will then be updated to confirm.
• All athletes will need to sign in to collect their numbers and pins at least 45 minutes before their first event stat time, outside the white pavilion by the 100m start line.

• Athletes will need to report directly to the event site – 20 minutes before start time, 30 minutes for pole vault
• Long Jump and Triple Jump have three trials for under 12 to under 16 athletes, four trials for under 18, under 20 and seniors.
• Parent volunteers will be required to help with an event that your athlete is competing in, supporting the qualified officials with simple tasks such as raking the pit and replacing the bar. Please offer your assistance if there is a call out.
