West Wales Indoor Athletics Championships Fixtures
The West Wales U13, U15 & U17 200m, 300m/400m, 600m/1000m Walk, 800m and 1500m Indoor Championships which are again this year incorporated into the Welsh Athletics Junior Indoor Open meetings at Cardiff. The 2026 West Wales Indoor Athletics Championships for all age groups in 60m, 60m Hurdles, Shot, Long, Jump, Triple Jump and Pole Vault, will take place at Swansea University Indoor Athletics Track over two days Saturday 31st January and Saturday 14th February. The events at Swansea are a closed championship for West Wales eligible athletes only.
Sunday 7th December 2025 West Wales U13 U15 & U17 Championships at Cardiff, CF23 6XD for Walks and 200m. There are other event disciplines West Wales athletes can enter in the open element of the day, but West Wales athletes are only eligible for medals in the 600m/1000m Walk and 200m. Entries close Thursday 27th November unless events reach capacity before this time. Enter online here.

To compete athletes must have one of the following qualifications:
A: – BIRTH; the athlete having been born in West Wales (Dyfed or West Glamorgan).
B: – RESIDENCE; a minimum of 9 months continuous residence in West Wales immediately prior to this event.
