Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th June was the Welsh Castles 209 mile 20 Stage Relay from Caernarfon to Cardiff, featuring 65 teams from across England and Wales who took on the challenge. There are six mountain stages (three on each day) in all and three team mountain stages prizes: the Kings (Open), Queens (Ladies) and Monarchs (Vets). First and foremost our thanks to team managers Andrew Cleverley and Marc Hobbs who had the unenviable task of finding and organising 20 fit and available athletes, their travel and accommodation, the team would not be able to compete without their efforts. Swansea Harriers last time we fielded a team in 2022 won the relay, in 2026 we ran even faster by almost half an hour, however this time the team had to settle for 5th but still a great result, our thanks to the entire squad showing great commitment and club spirit
