The team will be under no illusions of how tough the opposition will be in Manchester but the club is sure they will more than hold their own and do themselves proud again. On Sunday 15th August the U11, U13 & U15 team came 2nd to an excellent Pembrokeshire Harriers team performance at Haverfordwest in the Gerald Codd Trophy Match. Special mentions to Hannah Brier for setting a new club record in the U13G 70m Hurdles with a time of 11.30 to beat Anna Leyshons time of 11.5 set in 1992 and also until offically ratified we belive Hannah's time of 18.80 for the U13G 150m is a UK All TIme Record for the event, Luke Jenkins U15B 80m Hurdles club record of 11.49 to beat Berian Davies time of 11.6 set in 1987 and to Luke Jenkins, Joseph Thomas, Rhys Gealy & Alex Pavlou with a time of 48.18 to beat the club record with of 48.19 set in 1989. Full results are now available for the final Welsh Junior League Louise Arthur Division at Barry on 11th July.
Click here for the AMENDED full results NOW INCLUDING THE BOYS FROM DIVISION 1. There were many fine performances, but special mentions to Hannah Brier who set a new league record in the U13G 70m Hurdles with a time of 11.2, unfortunately this will not be recognised as a club record too, as there was no wind reading never the less this takes Hannah to number 1 in the UK rankings for hurdles as well as the 100m and 200m where she is already ranked number 1. Her time of 12.6 would also beat her own club record in the 100m but again there was no wind reading so will not count. But her part played in the U13G 4 x 100m relay will count where the quartet of Jessica Merrick, Hannah Brier, Ellie Coates and Ffion Wake equaled their own All Time UK record for the 4 x 100m with a time of 51.6 this was a new league record too, congratulations on another exceptional performance. The final league table has been updated in the menu. Pembrokeshire & Amman Valley are relegated from Division 1 and Brecon as Champions and Llanelli are promoted from Division 2.
