Our endurance athletes have had another very busy few days and blimey there are some fantastic results to catch up with:


London Marathon Club Places Draw

LONDON MARATHON 2016 club ballot; Swansea Harriers are now happy to take names for this. The club will be allocated around 3 club places for the 2016 race, although this will be confirmed in November.

Results Round Up From Llanmadoc, Pontarddulais & Wrexham

Sunday 27th September saw round 1 of 5 of the West Glamorgan Cross Country League held at Lanmadoc Gower and there was a pretty good turnout from the club. The main highlight was a win for Marc Hobbs, special congratulations should go to Marc who created history by breaking the record for the most individual wins in the League ever, breaking Alun Ropers long standing record!

Junior Training Starts Back On . . . .

All Swansea Harriers members only junior training sessions start back on week commencing Monday 5th October after the end of their outdoor track & field season break, with the exception of the 6pm Wednesday sessions with Welsh Athletics that are open to athletes from any club that re start on 30th September.

Results Round Up From Swansea, Bristol, Newcastle & Yeovil

Sunday 20th September were the 35th annual Swansea Bay 10K, 5K, 3K & 1K races, and in ideal weather conditions there were lots of personal bests and course best set.

Match 1 West Glamorgan Cross Country League (27.09.15)

Match 1 of 5 in the West Glamorgan Cross Country League gets underway on Sunday 27th September at 11am @ Llanmadoc, Gower, SA3 1DJ.

Results Round Up From Cardiff

Sunday 6th September was the Cardiff 10K where there were some great results for all 14 of the Swansea Harriers in action. Dewi Griffiths set a lifetime best of (29.17) to finish 2nd this to date has him ranked 8th in the UK - well done Dewi!
